Harriet is the off spring of Ellie (Quaystaff Jolene at Oscellsie x Colliermans Lionheart at Dazmarnic)

We bought our first staffy in 2005 (Oscar) who we attempted to show, having previously shown beardies it soon became very apparent that the two breeds were totally different personality wise. Having had a rude awakening trying to show Oscar we then decided that we would buy a beautiful little girl (Ellie) for my wifes 40 birthday. We showed Ellie with more success and decided to retire Oscar as his idea of fun is more about lying beside the fire or going for a good run, not showing. This left me going to shows and keen to show but not having a dog to show. The previous year we had been to Crufts and seen a beautiful young dog win his class in Junior this was Hallastaff Young Arthur, we knew of a litter that he had sired and when we rang the breeder there was just one puppy left i felt this was fate. We went along to see her and instantly fell in love with her we decided to call her Kelsie.

Kelsie went to crufts in 2008 and although she didn't get placed she did keep all the foreign visitors happy by sitting with her back legs behind her which is unique as far as we know.

We then decided to mate Ellie in 2008 with Gorgeous George, Ellie gave birth to 7 puppies, 3 stayed in the UK the others went to Sweden, France, Finland and South Africa we are very proud of her as she proved to be a fantastic mum.

This is the story so far.

Lots of things happened in 2009 Ellie was mated to Dazmarnic Don't Tell Um and was due a litter in Jan 2010, both Mikey and Harriet qualified for crufts with Ellie just missing out with a fourth place at Peterborough the one and only show she attended last year.

We are looking forward to campaigning Ellie, Harriet, Yogi and Martha in 2011.
